Introductory Course:

This four-week course is an introduction to Iyengar Yoga. The basics OF standing, sitting and supine poses are taught, along with relaxation. For more information and to find out when the next introductory course begins, call 619-709-9642

Asana I:

The basics of asana (poses) are taught and inverted asanas are introduced. The foundation for practice is established.

Asana II:

For those with one or more years of practice of Iyengar Yoga. Building on the foundation, the depth of understanding is increased and new asanas are learned. All basic asanas and relaxation are practiced. Pranayama is introduced.

Asana III:

For students with three or more years of experience in Iyengar Yoga. A continuous study of practice and introduction of more poses emphasizing the intelligence and the effects of the asanas.

Yoga Therapy / Special Needs:

Individualized yoga sequences given for specific needs.
